Every semester Northeastern's Entrepreneurship Club hosts an event called the Husky Startup Challenge, a semester-long startup competition. During the Fall 2019 semester I developed a venture that aimed to provide customers with custom-fit, 3D-printed eyeglass frames. After conducting market research, interviewing potential customers, developing initial prototypes, and refining a business model, my co-founder and I presented our venture to students and industry professionals. Out of over 40 initial ventures, and 12 finalists presenting in the final competition, we finished in 3rd place.
