Evopower System Japan

For my first product launch at SharkNinja, I worked on the development and launch of the Evopower family of cordless, lightweight vacuums for the Japan market. As a company that has mainly designed consumer products for the US market, it was a challenge to shift focus to working on a product tailored to a consumer base that values product features very differently. As the team learned, consumers in Japan value light weight, ease of maintenance, and low noise much higher than those in the United States. We worked rapidly to identify ways in which we can improve these aspects of our products and launched what became the number one selling hand vacuum in Japan, along with a stick version that also sold incredibly well.
